Leo Thomas III

Manager, Licensed Funeral Director & Embalmer, Licensed Prearrangement Counselor, and Aftercare Specialist

Leo has dedicated his career to serving families with compassion and integrity since entering the funeral profession in 2014. He became part of the FairHaven family in April 2019, where his commitment to excellence and heartfelt care quickly became evident. In January 2024, Leo was honored with a promotion to Manager of FairHaven Funeral Home, where he continues to lead with professionalism, empathy, and a deep sense of purpose.

Born and raised in Macon, Georgia, Leo has called the Sub-South community home his entire life. He is married to the love of his life, April, and together they have built a close-knit and loving family. They are the proud parents of two sons, Austin and Tucker, and in November 2020, they joyfully welcomed their daughter-in-law, Marlyn, into the family when she married Austin. In August 2022, Leo and April experienced one of life’s greatest blessings, the birth of their first grandchild, Sumlin Thomas, who quickly became the light of their world.

Leo’s calling to funeral service was born out of personal loss. After the passing of his father from cancer in 2009, Leo felt a profound desire to serve others experiencing grief. This life-changing moment led him to pursue a career where he could offer comfort, dignity, and guidance to families during their most difficult times. In May 2019, Leo graduated from Ogeechee Technical College with an Associate of Applied Science in Funeral Service Education, further equipping him to serve with both skill and compassion.

When not at the funeral home, Leo enjoys spending quality time with his family, especially while camping and exploring the outdoors. He is an avid supporter of Florida State University athletics and a devoted fan of NASCAR driver Chase Elliott. Leo and his family are former members of Lawrence Drive Baptist Church, where they have participated in multiple mission trips to Haiti, reflecting their strong faith and commitment to helping others.

Deeply involved in his community, Leo served on the Board of Directors for Windsor Academy and was the Director of the school’s youth football program from 2013 to 2022. From 2023 to 2025, he also served as President of the Middle Georgia PFL, further demonstrating his dedication to local families and youth development. Professionally, Leo is a proud member of the National Funeral Directors Association, the Georgia Funeral Directors Association, and the Academy of Graduate Embalmers of Georgia.

Through his work, faith, and community service, Leo continues to live out his calling, to serve others with compassion, respect, and genuine care.

Myles Allison

Funeral Director & Embalmer

Myles Allison grew up in Louisiana, where many of his family members still reside. His passion for helping others began early in his career while working as an EMT in Louisiana. That calling led him to pursue a degree in Funeral Services at Florida State College at Jacksonville, where he graduated in 2016.

Myles has been part of the afterlife care profession since 2013. He completed his licensed internship in 2017 and became a fully licensed funeral director in 2018. After several years serving families in Jacksonville, he relocated to South Florida, where he gained valuable experience working with families of diverse cultural backgrounds, including Jewish and Caribbean communities.

During his time in South Florida, Myles met his loving wife, Veronica. Together, they share four wonderful children and a love for travel, camping, and visiting Disney whenever possible. Myles also proudly admits to developing a serious appreciation for Cuban coffee during his time there.

In 2023, the Allisons chose to leave the hustle and bustle of city life behind and settle in Middle Georgia, drawn by its peaceful countryside, kind-hearted people, and strong sense of community. They’ve quickly grown to love their new home and look forward to putting down deep family roots.
