Wylene Moore Meeks

Wylene Moore Meeks, 91, of Milledgeville, Georgia, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, May 19, 2018. Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 22, 2018 from 6-8 p.m. at FairHaven Funeral Home. A graveside funeral service will be held Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Evergreen Cemetery, in Macon, Georgia.

Born in Moultrie, Georgia, Wylene was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Moore of Moultrie. Wylene will be remembered as a precious woman of god who unselfishly helped many people throughout her lifetime, leaving an impact on strangers and those who knew her. Through great dedication she was retired as an LPN nurse of 50 years, a retired Minister and she also loved playing piano for churches in Middle Georgia until her time of death. She loved the Lord and served Him daily. She would always say "Remember You Are Somebody". Wylene will be deeply missed by her family all who loved her.

Along with her parents, Wylene was preceded in death by her children; Charles Peavy, Carl Peavy and Joesph Peavy and four siblings.

She is survived by her children, Claudette Gladin and Bonnie Nguyen and several grandchildren.
