Wilma Simmons

Wilma Elizabeth Leavins Simmons, 54, of Lizella, passed away peacefully, February 11, 2018. A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at Roberta Evangelistic Church at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Bobby Hamlin officiating. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
Wilma was born November 21, 1963 in Bay County, Flordia. She worked the majority of her life as a homemaker, raising her two daughters. She loved being at home and spending time with her family and her cat Sammy and dog, Shadow. She was by far her happiest when she was with them.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ted Leavins and Martha Jean Tice as well as one grandson, Hunter Spires.
Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband of 36 years; Floyd L. Simmons. Two daughters: Amanda Spires (Jim) and Emily Cooper (John). Two grandchildren: Rylee and Colton Spires and three siblings: Tina Todd, Terry Spiker and Debbie Potts.
