Wilma Bowers

It is with love and gratitude that we sorrowfully announce that our precious, amazing, loving mother has lost her courageous battle with cancer. She passed away quietly on Monday June 27th surrounded by her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Tom and Belle Rankin, her brother Kenneth Rankin, and her loving husband of 56 years W.T Bowers.
A dedicated member of Centerville First Baptist Church and Sunday School for 39 years.
Those left to cherish her memories are her children: Debbie Carter (Eddie), Julana Monroe (Gerry), and Rhonda Lowie (Donnie) and foster son Luke Aaron.
Her grandchildren Christi, Melissa, and Kenneth Dean Cumbow, Jeff Monroe, Hannah and Victoria Lowie. 10 great grand children 3 great-great grand children. Her sisters Violet Sproles (Jimmie), Erma Keith (Jack) and Charlotte Schutes (Jerry). and several nieces and nephews Her dear friends of 52 years Ronnie and Wilma Bellamy, and her children's friends she considered daughters, Trina Baldwin and Regina Goforth.
The family will greet friends from 3-4pm on Friday July 1st at Centerville First Baptist Church, funeral to follow.
