Willie Tucker

Willie Lawrence Tucker, 87, of Lizella, passed away peacefully Tuesday, February 13, 2018. Funeral Services to celebrate his life will be held Saturday, February 17, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at Fellowship Church, 4967 Sandy Point Rd, Lizella. Mr. Tucker's son-in-law, Reverend Jim Evans will officiate. The family will have a visitation with viewing Friday, February 16, 2018 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at FairHaven Funeral Home.
Mr. Tucker was born on December 6, 1930 to the late Paul and Claudia Tucker, he proudly served our country in the United States Navy. He retired from the Ironworkers Union Local #387. Mr. Tucker was a member of Fellowship Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one son; Lawrence Michael Tucker and one granddaughter; Kim Tucker.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife; Lessie Mae Brewer Tucker. One daughter; Patricia Evans and her husband Jim. Four grandchildren: Michael Tucker, Jay Evans, Brian Evans, and Stacie Sumner. Eleven great grandchildren: Zeke, Jacob, Caedan, Jordan, Harley, Nathan and Amber Evans, Tori and Elena Fitzgerald, Andrew Sumner and William Tucker. As well as one sister; Dorothy Hamlin.
