William Howard "Buddy" Kendrick, 84, of Macon, Georgia passed away Sunday, June 17, 2018. A celebration of his life will be held Friday, June 22, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Fairhaven Funeral Home. The family will have a time of visitation from 1:00 p.m. till 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. The family respectfully asks that in honor of Buddy casual attire be worn.
Born in Fairfield, Alabama he was the son of the late Theodore and Addie Kendrick. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Theodore Phillip and Walter Jackson Kendrick, sister, Martha Self and an infant child, Stephen Howard Kendrick.
He retired as shipping manager after 34 years with Keebler Company. Buddy was also a member of the Rutland Masonic Lodge, #298 and Scottish Rite Bodies. He served as a Chief Aide Emeritus of Al Sihah Shrine Temple. He was a Korean Conflict veteran serving in the U.S. Navy.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Barbara Kendrick; children; Anita Perez-Studdard (Hank), Julie McLendon (Tom), Keith Kendrick (Teresa), and Kevin Kendrick (Beth); sisters, Frances Hosmer (Glen), and Nancy Self (Gary); ten grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
