William Jackson

June 25, 1952 — January 9, 2022

William Leonard Jackson, Jr., 69, of Byron, passed away on Sunday, January 9, 2022. A celebration of Mr. Jackson's life will be held on Friday, January 14, at 11:00 AM in the chapel of FairHaven Funeral Home with his son Pastor Wm. Derrick Jackson officiating. The family will greet friends one hour prior to service time.

Mr. Jackson was born on June 25, 1952, in Macon, Georgia, to the late William Leonard Jackson, Sr. and Nell Hagin Jackson. He retired from Robins Air Force Base after 34 years of service, where he worked as a sheet metal supervisor. He was an avid outdoorsmen and loved hunting and bass fishing.

Mr. Jackson is survived by his children Kristy Jackson of Fort Myers, FL and Pastor Wm. Derrick Jackson (Amber) of Canton, GA. He is also survived by his grand children Will Charles, Savannah Grace, Lilah Kate, and Tobias Grey Jackson, two sisters Brenda Green of Perry, GA and Beth Stephens (Larry) of Macon, GA, and one nephew Greg Skipper.
