It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Bill Hopkins of Macon, Ga. He passed away on
June 26, 2021.
A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, July 24th at 2:00 p.m.,at Northway Church on Zebulon Road, Macon. Ga. Rev. David T. Perry will be officiating. Bill's family will greet friends and family in the foyer one hour prior to the service.
Bill is survived by his wife, Pamela "Tyger" Hopkins, their children, Heather(Troy), Joshua, Caleb(Amy),and Hope(Aaron), his adoring grandchildren, Ailee-Grace Davis, Bella and Sofia Soriero, and Nai'a and Makai Hopkins. Other survivors include his siblings, Darlene(Tony) Bundrick, Jeff(Donna), Jack(Brenda) and Peter(Marilyn) Hopkins.
Bill is proceeded in death by his parents Rev. Roy Jack and Jackie Hopkins.
Also surviving Bill is the family his heart chose. Luis, Blanca, Albert and Alex De los Santos called him Lito.
If you loved a good story you were happy to have met him. It would not take too long for him to share of his deep love for his "Miss Tyger", their family, and his very adventurous life.
Bill was also known for his love of and ability to execute an excellent piano riff and an even better guitar riff. He enjoyed sharing produce from his garden and grilling and smoking meats on his collection of Weber grills. All of which were shared around the table he lovingly built years ago.
Bill was truly an original and will be greatly missed by his loving family, friends and co-workers.
