William Haas

William Roy Haas "Bill", 69, of Macon, passed away suddenly Friday, May 26, 2017. Funeral services to honor his life will be held Friday, June 9, 2017 at 12:00 Noon at High Point Church, with Pastor Trey Dickerson officiating. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service beginning at 11:00 A.M. at the church. Bill will be laid to rest on Monday, June 12 in Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery at 2:30 p.m. with military honors for family only.
Born on December 18, 1947, in Seattle, Washington to Victor and Betty Vallely, Bill was lovingly raised by late Clarence and Iona Haas. He proudly served our country in the United States Army. Bill retired from First Support Services INC at Robins Air Force Base. He was of the Baptist faith, and attended High Point Church. Bill was an avid reader, and enjoyed tinkering and repairing things like small engines. Bill also had a special place in his heart for his dogs.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents, as well as three siblings: Suzanne Stevens, Victor Vallely, and Calvin Foltz.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife: Julia Burgess Haas. Three children: Thomas Haas (Molly), William Haas (Roda) and Michealle Woodall (Wade). Six grandchildren: Joshua, Adriana, Chandler, Michaela. Isabella and William. As well as three siblings: Neil Foltz,Ingrid Johnson, and Verona Strelow (Jim).
