William Berel Gabriel, 72, of Lizella, passed away peacefully Wednesday, October 2, 2024. To honor his wishes, no funeral services will be held at this time.
Mr. Gabriel was born December 18, 1951, in Charlston, North Carolina, to the late Mr. Pete Gabriel and Mrs. Ruby Hancock Gabriel. He is described as a witty family man that cherished his family above all else. He loved to tell his "dad" jokes, giving a wooden letter "O" to Jasmine and loudly proclaiming "oohhh" or drawing an eye on the back of his beloved adult coloring book pages and gifting them with the phrase "I got my eye on you". When he wasn't joking with his family, he could be found enjoying the great outdoors fishing or golfing. He will be dearly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
In addition to his parents Mr. Gabriel is preceded in death by his brother, Mike Gabriel and sister, Brenda Hill.
Left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Amy (Robbie) Bloodworth; brother, Bruce Gabriel; three grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
