William Dekle

William Lewis "Big Bill" Dekle, 59, of Macon passed away suddenly on Thursday, February 17, 2022. The family will have a time of visitation to greet friends on Tuesday, February 22, 2022 from 1:00-2:00 p.m. at FairHaven Funeral Home before making their way to Glen Haven Memorial Gardens for a graveside service that will begin at 2:00 p.m.
Big Bill was born on August 24, 1962 in Macon, Georgia, and came to live in Hampton, Virginia until his father's retirement in 1964. They then moved back to Macon, where Bill lived for most of his life. He was employed as a painter in the Macon area. In his free time he enjoyed traveling, riding motorcycles and especially loved playing games and throwing darts with his friends.
Big Bill was preceded in death by his parents; Maurice Lewis Dekle and Vivian Johnson Dekle.
Left to cherish his memory is his significant other of 15 years; Leah Patton. Sisters; Vickie Evans, Maureen Vance and Nancy Padgett. Two nieces and three nephews.
