William Clements

William Steven Clements Sr. 66, of Macon, Georgia passed away Tuesday, August 21, 2018. Funeral services will be held Friday, August 24, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Fairhaven Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will have a time of visitation on Thursday, August 23, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. till 8:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
Born in McRae, Georgia, he is the son of Claudia Brewer Clements and the late William Clinton Clements. He is preceded in death by a daughter, Mandi Michelle Clements, and a grandson, Richard Cole Clements. He was of the Methodist faith, and a salesman with Alliance Sales and Marketing.
Mr. Clements was an avid Little League and Softball Coach with South Macon Ball Park. He started the first T-Ball League at South Macon and was on the Board of Directors. He was a former coach of the Georgia Heat Softball Team and was the USSSA Coach of the Year in 1991.
He is survived by his wife, Sylvia Wood Clements, Sons, William Steven Clements Jr. and David Clinton Clements. Grandchildren, Austin, Revy, Grace, William, Christian and Lyla Clements. Brother, Terry Clements, and Sister, Gail Clements.
