Willard Maloy White, 89, of Lizella, Georgia passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Thursday, February 6, 2025. A funeral service to honor his life will be held on Thursday, February 13, 2025, at 2:00 PM in the Sanctuary of Bethel Baptist Church. Pastor Jerry Garner will officiate the service.
Willard was born in McRae, Georgia on July 26, 1935, to the late Mr. Joe Conley White and Mrs. Roberta Miller White. He was a devoted husband, father, and friend. Willard had 44 years of dedicated service as a machine operator at Armstrong World Industries before retiring. He had a passion for yardwork, watching NASCAR and football, and spending peaceful days fishing. Willard's kind, gentle, and nurturing nature touched everyone around him, always willing to help others. He was a truly incredible dad and husband, always putting his family first. He and his wife, Norma, shared a love for traveling, particularly to Warm Springs, Georgia, where they made cherished memories together. Willard would do anything to make Norma smile, and his absence leaves a deep void. He will be dearly missed.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his identical twin brother, Wade White; additional siblings, J.C., Dillard, Berlin, and Jean; daughter in law, Vickie White; and a cherished friend, Jeanette Jarrard.
Left to cherish their memories with Willard are his wife of 67 years, Norma White; sons, Steve (Angela) White and Rick White; daughter, Denise White; grandchildren, Jessica (Penny) White, Brian (Bethany) White, Jason (Kiley) Harden, Katiland (Chip) Koepke, Tyler (Brittany) Langston, Ashley (Lance) Deakin; 12 great grandchildren; and a host of many cousins, nieces and nephews.
