Willard "Kc" Gilbow

November 18, 1974 — March 25, 2024

Willard "KC" Owen Gilbow, Jr, 49, of Lizella, Georgia passed away unexpectedly on Monday, March 25, 2024. The family invites friends to join them for a time of visitation to celebrate his life on Monday, April 1, 2024, from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM at Fairhaven Funeral Home.

KC was born in St. Petersburg, Florida on November 18, 1974 to Willard Own Gilbow, Sr and Ellen Marie Schoenthal Gilbow. He was gifted in his talents with ink, tattooing many people, his dedication went beyond the ink as he created last friendships with each of his clients. To him, it was not just a job but a lifestyle. KC was a devoted supporter of Iron Cross Motorcycle Club where he embodied loyalty and brotherhood. He had a love for music, especially when he could get together with the Irish Metal Band, "Ramblin' Rovers" and create music with them. KC found the most joy in his motorcycles. His motorcycles were a sense of peace, his rides were therapeutic and his ability to put them together was impressive. Whether he was reviving his motorcycles or strumming chords, he found great expression in his passions. Known for his generosity, and the power to always stand up for what he believed in, he lived a life with great integrity. Yet amidst it all, his proudest achievement was his role as a devoted and nurturing father, a title he cherished above all else. KC was a man of passion, strength, dedication and love. Husband, Father, Son, Uncle, and a helluva brother gone too soon. He was known to his family as a mountain of a man with a heart even bigger. KC is going to deeply be missed by the community behind him.

Left to cherish his memory and carry on his legacy is his wife, Danielle Christine Gilbow; children, Harley Andrew Ambrowsky (Shelby) and Charlotte North Marie Gilbow; brother, Charles Henry Gilbow (Sarah); nephews, Keaton and Bryson; grandson, Lucas; and his parents, Willard and Ellen Gilbow; and a host of many friends that became family to him.
