Wilbur Long

Wilbur Lester Long Jr. 87, of Macon, Georgia passed away Tuesday, May 11, 2021. A graveside services will be held Friday, May 14, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. Rabbi Greg Hershberg will officiate.
Born in Macon, he was the son of the late Wilbur Lester Long and Christine Cooper Christian. He was a bailiff with the Macon-Bibb County Sheriffs Office and a member of the Beth Yeshua International in Macon.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley Stafford Long, Children, De'Ron Rogers (Bryan), Amney Smith (Jason) and Matthew Long (Jessica); Step children, Darin Henigman(Terry), Daniel Henigman (John), Kris Henigman, and Angela Henigman. Sister, June Mitchell (Lloyd); Eighteen grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Many nieces and nephews. The family has requested in lieu of flowers donation to be made to the Friends of Neve Michael Children's Village USA in care of Beth Yeshua International P.O. Box 26507 Macon, GA 31221-6507
