Weyman Lineberger

Weyman Larry Lineberger, 74, of Lizella, Georgia, passed away peacefully on July 25, 2025.Born on December 7, 1950, Larry was the son of the late Merrill and Mabel Lineberger. A devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, he shared 42 years of marriage with his beloved wife, Lori Roberts.

Larry was a man who cherished the outdoors. He found great joy in gardening, fishing, and hunting, and had a deep love for animals, especially his loyal pet dogs and goats who were his constant companions.He was preceded in death by his son, Jason Lineberger, and his brother, Earl Lineberger.

Left to cherish his memory are his children: son Kevin Lineberger; daughters Kelly Lineberger, Shelley Mitchell (Jamie), and Sherry Shaw. He is also survived by his siblings Wendell Lineberger, Wayne Lineberger, and Linda Long.Larry was a proud grandfather to Christian, Gavin, Hannah, Alex, Natalie, Kinsley, Lindsay, Ansley, and Emily, and was recently blessed with a great-grandchild, Rowan.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Fairhaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services on Tuesday, July 29 at 11:00 AM, with Reverend Micah Carr officiating. Interment will follow at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery. Casual attire for attendees is preferred.

The family will receive friends for visitation on Monday, July 28 from 4:00 to 6:00 PM at Fairhaven Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to any Bibb County Animal Shelter, in honor of Larry's lifelong love for animals.

Larry will be remembered for his steady spirit, his devotion to family, and his love of life's simple pleasures. He will be deeply missed.
