Warren Harold "Butch" Wagner, Jr. passed away unexpectedly, Friday, August 21, 2015. Funeral Services to honor his life will be held Wednesday, August 26 at 11:00 a.m. at Lawrence Drive Baptist Church, with Reverend Rick Moore officiating. Interment will take place that afternoon at 2:30 p.m. in Georgia Veterans Memorial Gardens. The family will greet friends Tuesday, August 25, from 6:00 til 8:00 p.m. at FairHaven Funeral Home.
Butch proudly served our country in the United States Military during the Vietnam conflict. After serving time in the military he became a pipe fitter, working around the United States on several different projects including the Alaska Pipeline, working for NASA and Disney. He also worked in Saudi Arabia. In recent years Butch taught at Central Georgia Technical College as a welding instructor. His true passion involved being outdoors, he was avid hunter and fisherman and at one time owned his own charter fishing boat.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Traci Lee Davis Wagner, Son, Rusty Wagner (Daymara), Daughter, Shanna Bender, Step-Children, Courtney Powell and Charles Manhire IV, as well as two grandchildren, Scarlett and Cosette and five step grand-children. But Butch will be loved and missed by all who knew him.
