Wanelle Goff

Wanelle Heard Goff, 91, of Lizella, Georgia passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones Wednesday, May 1, 2019. Born in Irwin County, she was the daughter of the late John McKinley Heard and Callie Mae Moorehead Heard. She was the widow of Cecil E. Goff.

Mrs. Goff was a member of Bethesda Baptist Church, and loved to crochet blankets for her family. She enjoyed spending her days at the ballpark, spoiling the kids, gardening & cooking. She was rarely ever still. She was a retired CNA with Middle Georgia Hospital with 19 years of service. One of the most important things to her was caring for any & everyone. She never met a stranger and she loved everyone she met. She could light a room with her soft silly smile & fix any problem with her warm big heart. She will be truly missed by her family, friends & all who knew her!

She was preceded in death by her granddaughter in law, Kelly Hill Cunningham.

She is survived by her daughter, Susan Darlene Cunningham; grandchildren, Brian Cunningham, Tori Cummings(Tombo) and LaTasha Cunningham. Fourteen great grandchildren and Four great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
