Wanda Thomaston

Wanda Sue Smith Thomaston, 65, of Macon, Georgia peacefully passed away surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, June 21, 2023. A Graveside Service will be held Monday, June 26, 2023 at 2:30 P.M. at Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. The family invites friends for a time of visitation from 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. at Fairhaven Funeral Home. Brother, Doug Bandy, will officiate.

Mrs. Thomaston was born on July 21, 1957, in Macon, Georgia to the late Mr. Franklin Smith and Betty Jean Wesley Smith. Wanda worked at Sid Sandwich Shop for most of her career. She attended Wheeler Heights Church. Wanda enjoyed date nights with her husband, especially at Fincher's Barbeque or Cracker Barrell. She enjoyed the beach and a mountain view. Her grandchildren brought the upmost joy to her, and she will be missed by all who knew her.

Left to cherish Mrs. Wandas memory is her loving husband, William Thomaston; children, Michael (Chasity) Burnham, Richard (Kelsey) Burnham, IV., Billy (Beth) Thomaston, Billy Jean Thomaston, Tony (Erica) Thomaston, Ann (Victor) Barnes, Sandy (Jason) Mackey, and Ray Thomaston; siblings, Diann (Steve) Tucker, Vivian (Mark) Williams, Brenda Rogers (Ken Adkins); grand-children, Michael Jr, Abby, Leigh, Richard, V., Brianna, Maddie, Preston, Hannah, Harper, Hadley, Tillman, Paige, Bryant, Tori, Zach, Alicia, Olivia, JD, Miranda, Triston, Eli, Jayce, Cadence, Christian, Grayson, Cylan and Tyler; great- grandchildren, Lucas, Richard, VI., LB, Jackson, Gray, Riley, Asher, Grant, Knox and Flynt.
