Victor Smith

Victor Rene' Smith 69, passed away October 7, 2015. A Baptist and a deacon, he loved his church and his family and was a friend to all people and animals. He never met a stranger. He was a retired salesman/inspector with Orkin Exterminating Company and was known as "The Orkin Man"
Mr. Smith was preceded in death by his mother, Mattie Mae Tyson Smith and father, John Wesley Smith Sr., siblings John Wesley Smith Jr.; Gail Tidwell and Ellen Smith.
He is survived by his beloved wife and friend, Betty Sue Doles Smith and Son, Matt Smith; in-laws, Robert Tidwell, Patricia Anthony, Raymond and Jean Busbee, several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held in the chapel of Fairhaven Funeral Home, 4989 Mount Pleasant Church Road, Macon on Saturday, October 10, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. till 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Reverends Lance Merritt and Steve Golden will officiate. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery entering thru the north gate.
