Vicente Edy Perez, 74, of Macon, Georgia, passed away peacefully at his home on March 21, 2026, surrounded by his family. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 26, 2026 at 2:00 PM at FairHaven Funeral Home, with a funeral service immediately following at 3:00 PM in the chapel.
Born in Camagüey, Cuba, Vicente came to the United States as a teenager and built a life rooted in hard work, resilience, and a deep love for his family. He worked as a truck driver for many years and was known for his dedication and strong work ethic.
Vicente had a vibrant spirit and a true love for life. He enjoyed fishing, watching baseball and Nascar racing, working in his yard, and listening and dancing to salsa music. He was the life of the party—always sharing stories from his days in Cuba, telling jokes, and keeping everyone around him laughing and entertained.
Above all, Vicente’s greatest joy was his family. He cherished every moment spent with them, especially his five grandchildren, who brought him immense pride and happiness.
He is survived by his loving wife, Kay Perez; his daughters, Krista and her husband Rustin Snow, and Alisa and her husband Kyle Kitchens; his grandchildren, Anna Kate Kitchens, Ethan Snow, Grant Kitchens, Gavin Snow, and Aislin Kitchens; and his brother, Francisco Perez and his wife Rebecca; and his nieces and nephew.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Vicente and Eulogia Perez.
Vicente will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered for his warmth, humor, and the joy he brought to everyone who knew him.
