Veneree Coleman

April 6, 1924 — October 29, 2018

Veneree Register Coleman, 94, of Macon, went to be with her Lord and Savior in Monday, October 29, 2018. Funeral Services to celebrate her life will be held Thursday, November 1, 2018 at 12:00 Noon at Lawrence Drive Baptist Church. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Immediately following, Veneree will be laid to rest in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. Dr. Brad Marchman will officiate.
Veneree was born on April 6, 1924 in Laurens County, Georgia. She was retired from Robins Air Force Base working faithfully as a supply clerk for many years. A former coworker once said, "Veneree wasn't just good at her job, she was the best." Veneree loved her career, but her favorite job by far, was being a mother. She gave her all in raising and loving her two boys. She taught them the importance of their word and their name, and to never compromise either. As a single mother, she always gave her best to them. Veneree was a faithful member of Lawrence Drive Baptist Church with her support and attendance. Later in life, her special nephew, Gary Fann, visited regularly, sharing church bulletins and his notes from the sermon. She dearly loved the support of her Sunday School Class and dear friends, Jan Wright and Special Deacon, Jack Durden. She will always be remembered as a fun loving and caring Christian. She was an outgoing lady who touched everyone she met. Even at 94, she was never an old person, but one full of life, love and laughter. Veneree was preceded in death by two husbands; Jack D. Stewart, Sr. and Pershing Coleman. Also, one sister; Ruby Fann and two brothers; James and Hubert Register.
Left to cherish her memory are two loving sons; Jack D. Stewart, Jr. (Linda) and Doyle T. Stewart (Janet). Grandchildren; Danny Stewart, Bart Stewart (Aude), Merrigail Stewart (Wayne), and David Stewart. Also several great grandchildren. Veneree's gentle spirit will be missed by all who knew her.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made in Veneree's honor to Lawrence Drive Baptist Church, 5774 School Rd, Macon, Ga 31216.
