Tyrone Wayne Blair, 76 of Macon, passed away peacefully at home with his
wife by his side Thursday March 16, 2017.
A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held Friday, March 24,
2017 at 1:00 p.m. In the chapel of Fairhaven Funeral Home, 4989 Mount
Pleasant Church Rd, Macon, GA.
He was born in Macon and served in the Army during the Korean War. He was the retired owner and operator of the Iron Horse Cycle and Leather Shop in Wears Valley, Tennessee. He attended the Dixon United Methodist Church.
He is preceded in death by his father the late Claude Blair, his mother Margaret Foster Blair and brother Al Blair.
He is survived his loving wife and devoted partner Wendy Ferguson Blair, "baby sister" Sylvia Jackson, two brothers Donald and Glenn Blair as well as his children and grandchildren. He also leaves behind devoted friends Mike Walden, Danny (Lynn) McGahee Terry (Althea) Becham and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Following the service family and friends will gather at the home of Sylivia Jackson.Our Family would like to acknowledge all acts of love and kindness.
