Tyler Everette Hunnicutt

Feb 9, 1994 — Aug 11, 2026

Tyler Everette Hunnicutt, 32, of Macon, passed away on Tuesday, August 11, 2026. Funeral services to honor his life will be held on Saturday, August 15, at 11:00 AM at Calvary Baptist Church, 5046 Fulton Mill Road, Macon, Georgia 31216, with Pastor, Ronnie Hollis, Jr., officiating. Immediately following, Tyler will be laid to rest at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. The family will have a time of visitation on Friday, August 14, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at FairHaven Funeral Home.

Tyler was born on February 9, 1994, in Macon, Georgia. He graduated from Rutland High School in 2012, where he proudly shared his musical talents as a member of both the school band and orchestra. He especially enjoyed playing the trumpet, an experience that allowed him to express his creativity and make lasting memories with his classmates and friends. Following high school, Tyler continued his education at Middle Georgia State College, earning his Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree in 2017. His dedication to his education and nursing career reflected his caring nature and his desire to make a difference in the lives of others.

Tyler was also deeply proud of his service to his country. He proudly served in the United States Army Reserves, attaining the rank of E-4 and serving with the 12 Charlie Brigade and the 361st Engineer Brigade. His military service was a source of great pride, and he carried with him the values of dedication, commitment, and service that came from being part of the Army.

Outside of his career and service, Tyler had a fun-loving spirit and enjoyed the simple things that brought him happiness. He loved traveling to the beach, where he could relax and enjoy time away from the everyday routine. He was also an avid video game enthusiast and could spend hours immersed in his favorite games. Tyler had a particularly deep affection for his 2012 Ford Mustang, which held a special place in his heart and was something he truly enjoyed owning and caring for.

Yet, above all his accomplishments, interests, and hobbies, Tyler's greatest joy was found in “his girls.” His wife, Hunter and his daughters, Jersey and Sunny, were the center of his world and brought him a love and happiness that was beyond measure. He also adored his beloved cat, Gus-Gus, who was a cherished companion and an important part of his family.

Tyler will be remembered for the many lives he touched, the memories he created, and the love he shared with his family and friends. Though his time with them was far too short, the love he had for his daughters, his family, and those closest to him, will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all whose lives were blessed by his presence.

Tyler was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Elmer Jackson "Jack" Hunnicutt and Charles Rodney Craddock.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Hunter Hunnicutt; daughters, Jersey and Sunny Hunnicutt; parents, Chad and Missy Hunnicutt; sister, Taylor Hunnicutt; grandmothers, Linda Hunnicutt and Diane Craddock; and a host of extended family members and friends.
