Tressie Manderson

April 25, 1929 — March 3, 2025

Mrs. Tressie Manderson, 95, of Macon, Georgia passed away Monday March 3, 2025, at a local hospital surrounded by her family. A graveside service will be held 2:30 PM Fri March 7, 2025, at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens with the Reverend Chris Dotson officiating.

Mrs. Manderson, wife of the late William Joseph Manderson, was born in Butler, Georgia to the late Albert Prince and Alma Youngblood Prince.

Mrs. Manderson was a sewing Instructor, at Singer Sewing Center and later retired from Geico. She loved planting and growing flowers. She loved her family. She is preceded in death by her husband William Joseph Manderson, son William Michael Manderson, siblings Parents Albert and Alma youngblood prince.

She was a member of Porter Field Baptist Church, attending Ruth Sunday School classes, member of The Leisure Club and Macon Mall Walkers Club.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Wanda M. Ennis, Sharon (Ben) Galyean; grandchildren, Brian Galyean, Michele (Jon) Hendrix, Melissa Thrasher and Stephen Johnson; seven great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; brothers, Bernard and Rick Prince.
