Travis Turner

MSGT USAF (Ret) Travis Glenn Turner, 79, of Macon, Georgia passed away Saturday, July 9, 2016. A graveside service with full military honors will be held Monday, July 11, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. Reverend Herbert Williams will officiate.
Born in Dothan, Alabama, he was the son of the late Cody and Eva Bowden Turner. He was a retired Master Sargent from the US. Air Force after 22 years of service. After retirement he went to work for Brown and Williamson Tobacco Corp for about seven years and then went to work for Robins Air Force Base civil service, where he was proud of his involvement with the "Joint Stars" effort.
Mr. Turner was also preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Sara Turner and son, Steven Turner of Warner Robins, Ga.
