Tony was born on March 1, 1959, in Macon, Georgia to the late Mr. Cecil Ray Howard and Willie Juanita Bryant. Tony was a man who gave selflessly to his community, and his loss is deeply felt by all who knew him. He was an attendee of Pine Forest Baptist Church, he was also a beloved coach at Western Little League, where he poured his heart into shaping the lives of young athletes. His commitment to the league led him to serve as president for several years, a role he embraced with great passion. His love for people was unmatched, and he deeply appreciated everything he had. Tony loved spending time outdoors, whether it was on the golf course, fishing by the water, or out in the woods hunting. His kind spirit and willingness to help anyone in need earned him the title of "gentle giant," as he was always there for those around him. Tony's love for the Georgia Bulldogs was undeniable, and he could often be heard cheering (or maybe yelling) at the TV during their games. Above all, his family meant the world to him, and he treasured every moment spent with them. Tony's big heart and unwavering devotion will never be forgotten.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a sister, Melba Elliott.
Left to cherish his memory is his faithful wife of 47 devoted years, Betty Howard; children, Lynn (Lance) Chandler, Bubba (Leanne) Howard, and Jamie (Cedric) Newberry; brother, Cecil "Danny" (Nancy) Howard; grandchildren, Kinsley, Kace, Tiger, Haley, Lola (Matthew), and CJ; nieces, Michelle (Rusty) and Cherie (Brandon); nephew, Dan (Michelle); great nieces, Dani (Nathaniel), Alexis (Ashton) and Alayna; great nephews, Tony (Jessica), Taylor, Dylan (Kailyn); great great niece, Emmy; loving four legged friends, Rusty and Tony.
