Tony Scarbary

Tony Glen Scarbary, 54, of Macon, passed away on Saturday, December 19, 2020. Tony was born on March 12, 1966 in Macon, Georgia. He graduated from Gilead Christian Academy in 1984, and he was a member of Lawrence Drive Baptist Church. In his free time, he loved playing baseball, fishing and hunting with his sons and spending time with his family.

Tony was preceded in death by his father, Malcolm Lee Scarbary, Sr.; and childhood best friend Donald Eric Barker.

Tony is survived by his wife of 32 years, Kima Scarbary: sons, Kaleb Scarbary and Matthew Scarbary: mother, M. Florene Scarbary: sister, Brenda (Weldon) Phillips: brother Mack (Jana) Scarbary: and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at Lawrence Drive Baptist Church with Pastor Joe Bowker officiating. Immediately following, Tony will be laid to rest in Mount Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will greet friends on Monday, December 21, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Fairhaven Funeral Home. Due to COVID-19, masks will be required and social distancing will be enforced.
