Tommie O'Vivian Joyner Gay, 79 of Macon, Georgia passed away Saturday, May 27, 2023. A graveside service will be held Friday, June 2, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. Reverend Johnny Baggett will officiate. The family will have a time of visitation on Thursday, June 1, 2023 from 6:00 p.m. till 8:00 p.m. in Fairhaven Funeral Home.
Born in Alapaha, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late James P. Joyner and Carrie Lanier Joyner. She was the widow of Carris W. Gay.
Mrs. Gay was a homemaker and loved shopping, going out to eat and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her children, Jimmy W. Barnett(Dennis West), Tommy E. Hartfield and Timothy S. Hartfield(Trina); Brother, Charles Joyner; grandchildren, Justin, Caitlin, Scott, Cory, Kayla, and Destiny; great grandchildren, Bentley, Haven, Weston, Cali, and Willow.
