Timothy "Tim" Lee Smith, 53, of Gray, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 18, 2021 at his residence surrounded by his family. A celebration of Tim's life will be held on Saturday, January 23, at 2:00 PM at New Seasons Worship Center, 6750 Old Gordon Rd, Dry Branch, GA 31020. Pastor Wesley Bridgers will officiate.

Tim was born on March 18, 1967, in Danville, Indiana, to Pete Smith, Jr. and the late Barbara Jean Price Smith. He made his residence in Gray, Georgia, for the last 30 years. Tim was the owner and operator of Quality Contracting. He was a hard worker that always provided for his family. In his free time, Tim loved riding motorcycles, hunting, and fishing. His family was his greatest joy.

Tim was preceded in death by his sister, Angie Smith and brother, Dewayne Smith.

Tim is survived by his sons, Dustin Smith (Emily), Richard Coker (Crystal), and Michael Coker; daughters, Kallie Durden and Leeta Freeman; grandchildren, Madison Turner, Ethan Coker, Jacob Coker, and Mason Coker; brothers, Jessie Smith, Len Smith, Ken Smith, Earl Smith, and James Smith; life-long friends, Renee Henderson (Neil) and Susan Smith; several nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, special aunt, Mary Barronton.
