Thomas Prescott

Thomas Edison Prescott, Jr., 85, of Macon passed away peacefully at his residence on Wednesday, July 18, 2018. A graveside service to honor his life will be held Friday, July 20, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. Chaplain Janet Smith will officiate. The family will have a time of visitation on Thursday, July 19, 2018 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at FairHaven Funeral Home, 4989 Mount Pleasant Church Road, Macon.
Thomas was born May 4, 1933 in Macon to the late Thomas E. Prescott, Sr. and Annie Elizabeth Jones Prescott. Thomas was a graduate of Lanier High School and proudly served our country in the United States Army. After his time in the service he began a lengthy and impressive career with Civil Service at Robins Air Force Base. He was jack of all trades and could fix anything that was broken. If Thomas couldn't find a part he needed, he would make it.
Thomas was preceded in death by his parents as well as one brother; Gene Prescott.
Left to cherish his memory and carry on his legacy is his loving family. Two sons: Mr. & Mrs. Thomas E. Prescott III and Gregory Glynn Prescott, as well as Jackie Harris Prescott.
