Thomas Ray Herndon, Jr., 65, of Macon, Georgia, passed away on September 26, 2025. He was born on July 14, 1960, in Macon to the late Thomas Ray Herndon, Sr. and Florence Evelyn Vinson.
Mr. Herndon built a long and dedicated career as an RV technician with Mid State RV and Camping World, where he was known for his skill, work ethic, and kindness toward both coworkers and customers. Outside of his work, he was a proud member of the 1688 Moose Lodge in Warner Robins, GA. He loved the outdoors and especially enjoyed fishing and hunting.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 44 years, Mary Herndon; his son, Ray Herndon (Lacey); his daughter, Jennifer Goodman (Steven); his stepdaughter, Kathy Michelle Harbin (Joey); his brother, Wilbur Herndon; two stepbrothers; three stepsisters; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Mr. Herndon will be remembered for his hardworking spirit and the joy he found in the simple pleasures of life.
In accordance with his wishes, services for Mr. Herndon will be private.
