Thomas Cowan Drake, 89, of Macon, passed away on Friday, September 22, 2023. Funeral services will be private.
Mr. Drake was born on January 14, 1934, in Smyrna, Georgia, to the late Mr. Clarence Lejoy Drake and Mrs. Annie Belle Cowan Drake. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. Mr. Drake was the owner operator of Riverside Treasures. Mr. Drake was an avid fan of the Atlanta Braves, Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, Georgia Bulldogs, Atlanta Falcons, Alabama Crimson Tide, Golf and Tennis. He spent much of his free time playing golf, tennis, fishing. Most of all, he cherished his family, especially his grandchildren.
Mr. Drake was preceded in death by his sons, Tommy Drake and Jimmie Drake.
Mr. Drake is survived by his wife of 30 years, Janet "Jan" Josey Drake; children, Terry Drake and Sidney (John) Adams; grandchildren Brandon, Logan, and Landon Adams, Nick (Suzie) Drake, Cathy (Morgan) Harper-Drake, Leslie Drake, Jimmie and Justin Drake; one great-grandchild Kane; sister, Laurie (David) Evans; and brother, Bobby (Diane) Drake.
