Tommy was born in Macon, Georgia on September 26, 1945. He and his wife, Barbara were active members at Lawrence Drive Baptist Church. Tommy has been a hard worker his entire life, always ensuring his family was taken care of no matter the task at hand. He was a machinist for Colonial Bakery for 33 years before retiring. Once retiring, he went on to take over the role as an assistant manager for Rex for over 10 years, before landing his final job at Sams Club where he worked for 10 more years. Tommy was dedicated to his grandchildren, never missing a baseball game, ballet recital or a chance to fix his grandchildren his family favorite cheese toast. He was a faithful supporter of his family and grandchildren and made every effort to make as many memories as possible with them. He was a true family man, and the Patriarch of his family. He will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved him.
Mr. Baggett is preceded in death by his father, Thomas Woodruff Baggett, Sr.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 60 years, Barbara Baggett; children, Lisa (David) Maddox, Tori Davis, Jason Baggett, and Brooke (Jimmy) Mullis; grandchildren, Adam Maddox (Kayla), Abby Maddox, Kali Baggett, Parker (Anna) Davis and Jared Davis; great-grandchildren, Bailee, Lilly, Barney and Matteo; and a host of many loving family members that will miss him tremendously.
