Theron Blackwell

Theron Blackwell, 88, of Macon passed away peacefully and went to be with his Lord and Savior, Friday, September 11, 2015. Funeral Services to honor his life will be held, Monday, September 14 at 3:00 p.m. at Lighthouse Baptist Church , 4770 Sardis Church Road, Macon with the Reverends Herschel and Tim Sizemore officiating. Interment will be immediately following in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Blackwell was a charter member at Lighthouse Baptist Church. He was an avid fisherman and loved to hunt. On the weekends he also enjoyed watching football. But above everything he was a caring Christian man who loved his family dearly.
He is preceded in death by his childhood sweetheart, and wife of almost 60 years, Naomi Motes Blackwell one son, Kenneth Theron Blackwell and a brother, James H. Blackwell. Left to cherish his memory is his loving daughter, Kathy Williams (Richard) of Macon, two beloved sisters, Joan Wood and Katherine Riley both of Macon. As well as 4 Grandchildren and 6 Great-Grandchildren. He will be missed by all who knew him
