Terry Hester AKA T-Roy or Papa T rode right through the Pearly Gates on his Harley to go fishing in the Golden Pond on July 18th 2018. He was born on the army base July 7th 1954 in El Paso Texas to Roy and Margaret Hall Hester.
Considering he left behind 3 Ex-Wives it's a good thing that, according to him, his motorcycle was his girlfriend. He was known for sending hot chick videos to his male counterparts at least twice a week via Facebook Messenger. He loved beer, sweet tea and home cooked meals. After riding past her for several weeks every day on his way home from work he stopped and released his Pitbull, who he named Pepper, from a small chain where she was tethered with no food or water he then put her in his truck and they've been Inseparable ever since.
He was known in his younger days for being Wild & raising hell. On a nice summer day you could always find him either somewhere fishing or somewhere riding.
He proudly served in the US Army during the Vietnam war and remained on standby duty until 1978. He worked in construction most of his life and was currently employed with the engineering and grounds department at the VA hospital in Dublin.
He passed peacefully in his sleep surrounded by his family. He was predeceased by both his parents, his baby sister Michelle Hester Embry, and his son-in-law Russell Heald.
Survivors include his daughter Amy Hester Garrett (Ryan), son Josh Hester (Renee), grandchildren Cheyenne, Cierra, Brayden Tia, Tripp, Maddie Grace, Cataleia and Sophia. Great granddaughter Amelia. Brother Kenny Hester, sister Vickie Dever, lots of nieces and nephews and 3 ex wives.
Services will be Monday July 23 at 3 pm at Fairhaven Funeral Home in Macon.
The family can be contacted at 3355 Vista circle Macon, Ga 31204.
