Sybil Mayfield

Sybil Freeman Mayfield, 89, of Macon, Georgia passed away Wednesday, February 8, 2017. Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 11, 2017 in the chapel of Fairhaven Funeral Home at 12 noon. Burial will follow in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. Dr. Brad Marchman will officiate. The family will have a time of visitation on Saturday, February 11, 2017 from 11:00 a.m. till service time in the funeral home.
Born in Heard County, She was the daughter of the late Eula Mayfield and J. W. Mayfield. She was the widow of Calvin Mayfield, and also preceded in death by her son, Elgin Mayfield Sr.
Mrs. Mayfield was a member of the Parkway Baptist Church and loved Fincher's Bar-B-Que, and Stamp Bingo.
She is survived by her daughter, Edna Kinard (David Sr.) Son, Eugene Mayfield (Alicia) Grandchildren, Tammy(Keith), Eddie (Wendy), David Jr.( Brigette), Elgin Jr. and Cindy. Eight great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. Sister, Winnie Ewing.
