Susan Elaine Winters, a beloved resident of Lizella, Georgia, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 19th, 2026, at the age of 63. Born on Monday, August 6th, 1962, in Middletown, Ohio, Susan touched the lives of many with her warmth, kindness, and dedication to her family and community.
Susan was a devoted Heat & Air Technician at Trane, where she worked diligently and was respected by her colleagues and clients alike. She applied her work ethic to cleaning homes which Susan was able to turn into a small business. Her commitment to her work was matched only by her dedication to her family and her many interests. Susan was known for her passion for yard work, maintaining an immaculate home, and her love for her dogs. She cherished spending time with her family and friends and had a deep appreciation for music. Susan found a way to express her creativity through drawing and gravitated towards the thrill of riding motorcycles.
Susan enjoyed the fellowship at Lawrence Drive Baptist Church when she was able to attend and loved listening to Pastor Phil Skelton. Here, Susan found joy and solace in her faith and the fellowship of this church community. Her life will be celebrated at a funeral service held at Lawrence Drive Baptist Church in Macon, Georgia, on Friday, May 22nd, 2026, at 3:00 pm. The service will be officiated by Pastor Phil Skelton.
Susan is survived by her loving Mother-in-law, a.k.a. "Momma Nuby" Robinson, and her siblings: Doris "Debbie" Bates, Robert Hollar, Wanda Taylor, Lonnie Hollar, and Kirby King. She was preceded in death by her cherished husband, Brian Coffee, her father, Bob Hollar, and her mother, Margaret Geraldine Barnes.
