Steven Thomas Becham, 51, of Macon, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, September 15, 2024. Funeral services to honor his life will be held on Thursday, September 19, at 11:00 AM at Lizella Baptist Church, with Reverend, Chris Minton officiating. Immediately following, Mr. Becham will be laid to rest at Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will greet friends one hour prior to service time at the church.
Mr. Becham was born on November 6, 1972, in Macon, Georgia. He graduated with honors from Crawford County High School and received a Bachelor of Science in accounting from Macon State College. Mr. Becham was a Certified Tax Accountant with Goette Accounting and Tax Service and was a member of Lizella Baptist Church. He was a fanatic of the University of Georgia Bulldogs, Atlanta Braves, and NASCAR driver, Mark Martin. In his free time, Mr. Becham enjoyed playing golf, but most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family.
Mr. Becham was preceded in death by his father, Cary Van Becham; maternal grandparents, Tom and Betty Rodgers; paternal grandparents, James and Doris Becham; best friend, Russ Watson; stepfather, John Henry Clance, Jr.; and father-in-law, Billy Borders.
Left to cherish Mr. Becham's memory are his soulmate of 30 years, Laura Lynn Becham; daughters, Amber Leigh Becham and Sierra Nicole Becham (Bo and Emmersyn Mullis); mother, Wanda Rodgers Clance; sisters, Sandy Phillips, Angel Foskey (Tommy), Tricia Clance, and Brandi Rodriguez (Michael); brothers, John Clance (Shelly) and Jody Epps (Aubrey); step-mother, Gail Becham; mother-in-law, Jeanette Borders; mentor, Rose Goette Turner; and several cousins, nieces, nephews, in-laws, and friends.
