Steve Thurmond Harris, 69 of Macon, Georgia passed away Sunday, March 20, 2022. A visitation will be held Thursday, March 24, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. till 7:00 p.m. in Fairhaven Funeral Home.
Born in Macon, he was the son of the late Benjamin Harris and Betty Simpson Harris. He was a retired master machinist with Brown and Williamson Tobacco Company. He was the past president of the IAM Union district 131 and held many positions with IAM union local 2590.
He is survived by his wife, Debra Whittington Harris, Son, Jason Harris, Siblings, Jack Harris(Elisha), Tracy Harris(Tammie) and Robbye Gutierriez (Bill).
