Stacey Damon Lanier, 54, of Byron, passed away unexpectedly at his residence on Friday, October 1, 2021. A graveside service to celebrate his life will be held on Tuesday, October 5, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. in the Mausoleum Chapel of Glen Haven Memorial Gardens with Reverend Zeke DeLaFuente officiating. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at the cemetery.
Stacey was born on May 22, 1967, in Macon to Jack and Betty Lanier. At a young age, he was active as a Boy Scout, and obtained the prestigious rank of Eagle Scout. Throughout his life, Stacey always had a passion for music, and played the piano as well as the organ. This was a self taught talent and he could play anything by ear. In his free time, Stacey enjoyed reading and was a true history buff, he also liked cooking. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Above everything, Stacey will be remembered as a kind and caring soul that would do anything for anyone in need.
