Sidney Corley

Sidney Lanier Corley, 87, of Macon, passed away on Tuesday, May 1, 2018. Services to honor his life will be held on Friday, May 4, in the chapel of FairHaven Funeral Home; 4989 Mount Pleasant Church Road, Macon, Georgia. Visitation will begin in the funeral home at 1:00 pm with the service to follow at 2:00.
Sidney enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid fisherman, he liked to hunt and garden as well. He loved his poker games, but most of all his best times were spent with family.
He is preceded in death by his parents: Jessie Anderson Corley and Mattie Little Corley; a son, Charles D. Corley; his brother Jeff Corley; and a sister Merle Mercer.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Gloria Ann Boutwell Corley; his daughter Teresa Corley (Joe); two step-sons: Danny Fowler (Mary) and Richard Parrish; a brother, Wilson Corley; three sisters: Janie "Brownie" Seymour, Ione Rowland, Annabelle Stallings; five grandchildren: Ashley, Kelly, Logan, Kristen and Lindsey; great-grandchildren: Griffin, Weylin, Tinley, Jackson, Maddox and Ava. Sidney will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
