Shirley Coatney

Shirley Ann Cravey Coatney, 71, of Lizella, Georgia passed away Tuesday, October 13, 2020. Graveside services will be held Thursday, October 15, 2020 at 12:30 p.m. in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. A family visitation will be held Thursday, October 15, 2020 from 10 a.m. till 12 Noon in Fairhaven Funeral Home.
Born in Americus, Georgia she was the daughter of the late Albert Allison Cravey and Flora Mae Morris Cravey. She was preceded in death by her husband, Noah Dillard "Sam" Coatney.
Mrs. Coatney was a lifetime member of the VFW Auxillary, enjoyed volunteering at the Ronald McDonald House and was a Foster Parent to many children over the years.
She is survived by her children, Joe Busbee (Olette), Jennifer Busbee and Tammy Farrens(Tim); siblings, Billy Cravey, Georgia Mae Craven(Tommy); Grandchildren, Matthew Spillers(Haley), Alyssa Yerian(Aaron), Anna Johnson(Blake), Katie McGuire, Carlie Farrens, Jack Farrens, Allison Overturf and Aaron Overturf. Six great grandchildren.
