Sheryl Lynda White, a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished sister, and treasured friend, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 21st, 2026, in her hometown of Macon, Georgia. Born on Saturday, March 25th, 1950, in Atlanta, Georgia, Sheryl lived a life filled with compassion, creativity, and a true love for those around her.

She graduated from McAvoy High School in Macon, where she laid the foundation for a career as a trusted bookkeeper at First Choice Glass, from which she retired after years of dedicated service. Sheryl’s meticulous nature and sharp mind made her a valuable asset in her professional life.

Sheryl was married to her beloved husband, Troy White, for 57 memorable years. Together, they built a life filled with affection and joy, raising their son Jonathan (Tara) White, who was the light of Sheryl's life. Sheryl was a member of Four Winds Apostolic Church in Warner Robins and attended faithfully along side her husband, Troy. Her generous spirit and infectious smile left an indelible mark on everyone fortunate enough to cross her path. Her sisters, Diane Busby and Connie Peacock of Byron, fondly remember her as a caring sibling, and her numerous nieces and nephews will always cherish memories of her warmth and kindness.

Sheryl’s interests were as varied as they were passionate. She spent countless hours crafting and sewing, her hands always busy creating beautiful gifts, especially around her favorite season, Christmas. Her love for people shone brightly in everything she did, earning her a reputation as someone who was always thoughtful and generous—a true friend to all.

Sheryl is predeceased by her loving parents, William E. Davis Sr. and Marian H. Davis, as well as her dear brother, Reverend William E. Davis, Jr. She is fondly remembered by a large extended family and community of friends who will miss her compassion and creativity.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Sheryl's life at a funeral service on Saturday, January 31st, 2026, at 1:30 pm at Abundant Grace Church in Warner Robins, Georgia. The service will be officiated by Reverend Terry Reep, with Reverend Vandy Pope assisting. A graveside committal service will be conducted by Reverend James Driver.

Prior to the funeral, a visitation will be held at Fairhaven Funeral Home in Macon, Georgia on Friday, January 30th, 2026, from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm, providing an opportunity for family and friends to come together and share their memories of Sheryl.
