Sherry Calhoun

Sherry Melina Trawick Calhoun, 55, of Macon, went to join her Lord and Savior on Friday, March 16, 2018. Services to honor her life will be held on Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Harvest Cathedral, 2254 Rocky Creek Rd, Macon, with Pastor Steve Sawyer officiating. Burial will follow in Glen Haven Cemetery. The family will have a time of visitation on Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at FairHaven Funeral Home, 4989 Mt. Pleasant Church Road, Macon, Georgia, from 6:00-8:00 pm.
Sherry was born in Milledgeville to Mrs. Theodora Hartwell Trawick and the late Joseph Lee Trawick. She is survived by her husband, Charles Calhoun, her mother, two sons: Charles L. Calhoun and Brian Christopher Calhoun; two daughters: Erica Elise Calhoun and Celeste Christina Calhoun; a step-daughter, LaShonda Calhoun Harris (Desi); two brothers Bertram L. Trawick (Elois Warren) and Octavias Trawick (Abagail); two sisters: Eunice V. Hartwell and Lisa Harris (Donald); two grandchildren: Eboni Sherell Calhoun and Ansley Grace Harris.
Sherry was a 1980 graduate of Baldwin County High School and went on to earn a B.A. at Albany State College. She worked for many years at Kraft Foods as an account manager. She enjoyed volunteering at Harvest Cathedral where among other positions, she was a greeter. When she wasn't busy homeschooling her children she enjoyed reading and puzzles. She was also a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
