Sheila Elaine Meeks Miller

Sheila Elaine Meeks Miller, (66), of Macon, passed away on Friday, February 24, 2023. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 4, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. Pastor Micah Carr will be officiating.
Sheila was born on 10 October 1956, in Macon, Georgia, to the late Mr. Wilbur A. Meeks and Mrs. Bernice Odom Meeks. Sheila was a headstrong woman who early in her life decided she wanted to make all of her own decisions and made it very clear to anyone who might question her. She moved from Macon to Indianapolis, Indiana and stayed there for many years before returning back to Macon. She moved around Macon many times before her sons were old enough to go out on their own. When Sheila was first found laying on the floor of her apt. room it was figured she had lain there for at least two days. Her landlord called an ambulance and she was transported to Navicent Health where she was in a regular room until she developed further problems and moved to ICU. It was there she passed away from complications.
Sheila was preceded in death by, two sisters; Wanda Diane Meeks and Sandra Kay Allen Smith Campbell and a son: Jeremy Scott Smith Harvey.
Sheila is survived by her sons, Matthew Miller and James David Miller; sibling, Jimmy Allen; and many Aunts, Uncles, Nieces and Nephews.
