Shannon "Vic" Holmes

Shannon "Vic" Holmes, a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 21st, 2026. Born on Tuesday, December 28th, 1976, in Macon, GA, Vic lived a life full of love, laughter, and adventure.

Vic was a skilled electrician, known for his dedication to his craft and his ability to brighten any room with his presence. His passion for his work was matched only by his love for the great outdoors. Vic found joy in riding ATVs, fishing, and spending time on tractors, often surrounded by friends who cherished his company.

He is survived by his loving mother, Janice Yaughn, who was his constant support and confidante. Vic also leaves behind his brother Bryant Wood and sisters Jennifer Lawrence (Patrick) and Rebecca Lynn Stewart, Grandmother, Helen Yaughn. His nephews, Bailey Holmes (Cassidy), Chase Stewart (Laura), Hunter Napier, and Robbie Wood, will fondly remember their uncle's adventurous spirit and warmth. Vic's beloved pet cat, Gizmo, will miss his gentle care and companionship. Vic also leaves behind a multitude of cousins.

Vic was preceded in death by his father, Bennie Frank Holmes, and his brother-in-law, J.P Grund. Despite these losses, Vic's resilient spirit and love for life continued to shine through, leaving an indelible mark on those who knew him.

Vic's legacy will live on in the hearts of those who loved him. His vibrant spirit, love for adventure, and unwavering dedication to his family and friends will be remembered and cherished always.
