Sarah Bittner

Sarah Beth Long Bittner, 66, of Lizella, joined her husband Butch in heaven on Wednesday, March 10, 2021 with her loving family by her side. The family will have a time of visitation on Monday, March 15, 2021 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at FairHaven Funeral Home. Funeral Services to celebrate her life will be held on Tuesday, March 16, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. In Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. Immediately following the service, she will be laid to rest next to her husband in the back of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery.
Sarah was born on April 30, 1954 in Tifton to the late Willie and Dorothy Long. Sarah was employed by Sam's Club, where she worked as a gas station attendant, and greeted everyone with a smile. She had a love for shopping, clothing, and especially jewelry. She was by far her happiest when she was spending time with her family, especially her grandbabies.
Sarah was preceded in death by her parents as well as her loving husband of 27 years, Donald "Butch" Bittner.
Left to cherish her memory is her daughters; Hannah Bittner Rumph (Tay), Melody Bittner Morales (Tony), and Tiffany Bittner Barnes (Ken). Grandchildren; Alexis Smith, Dakota Minshew, Ethan Morales, Gavin Bonamo, Chloe Bittner-Rumph, Kynleigh Rumph, Reighlynn Rumph and London Rumph. Siblings; Diane, Arlene, Sherry, Susan, Jean, and Frankie.
