Sara Taylor

Sara Frances Garnto Taylor, 90, of Macon, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 13, 2018. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service beginning at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, December 15, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of FairHaven Funeral Home, 4989 Mount Pleasant Church Rd, Macon with Reverend Stephen N. Johnson officiating. Immediately following the service, Sara will be laid to rest in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
Sara was born on February 11, 1928 in Dublin, Georgia to the late Hoke and Nellie Garnto. She was a member of New Heights Baptist Church where she was active in the Sunday School Class.
Left to cherish her memory is her loving family. Three daughters; Patsy J. Pate (Wayne), Martha P. Clark and Sharon T. Cater. Seven grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Siblings; Oliver Garnto (Vonnie)Larry Garnto (Wanda), Mildred Gilbert( Wayne). Three Step-brothers; Joe Lowery (Pat), Hoke Garnto, Jr., and Glenn Garnto (Susan). Sister- in-laws; Connie Garnto, Marie Garnto and Ann Garnto.
