Sandra Dee Smith Middlebrooks, 59, of Byron, passed away on Monday, September 9, 2024. A celebration of her life will be held on Monday, September 16, at 11:00 AM in the chapel of FairHaven Funeral Home. The family will greet friends one hour prior to service time.
Ms. Middlebrooks was born on November 4, 1964, in Macon, Georgia, to the late Mr. Arthur Lewis Smith and Mrs. Louise Ellene Jordan Barton. She held many administrative roles through the years always servicing others, with over 20 of those years held at Modern Woodman of America. She attended Northeast High School and soon after started her journey of being the best boy mom. Never missing a beat to have their backs or get them to a sporting event. She loved her family and was always ready for a cookout and a good time. She never turned down an opportunity to head to the beach or a day to lay in the sun. She was loved by many and known for her loving heart. Even if she didn't have it, she would give it.
In addition to her parents, Ms. Middlebrooks was preceded in death by her husband, Gary Wayne Middlebrooks and sister, Carla Ellene Mimbs.
Left to cherish, Ms. Middlebrooks memory are her children, Randall White (Erica), Chad White (Krista), Brent Middlebrooks (Robyn), Brandon Middlebrooks; brother, Joe Annis (Joyce); her greatest joy was her nine grandchildren, which she dearly loved.
